Things you didn't know. Sometimes thing get an overhaul, and its only in the thick of it they are discovered.
One of the most frustrating things about booking an Airbnb was that it was often difficult to see exactly where a listing was located on the map.1 This made it hard to figure out where everything was in an otherwise unfamiliar city.
But with the newest "upgrade," it's now possible to at least suss out where an Airbnb listing is in relation to other places.
It's a fairly straightforward feature, available in Location under a listing.
In the upper right-hand corner, there is an option to check Public Transit, which brings up the various lines a city may have. From there on, users can click directly on what appears to be the nearest station to get its name.
There's also an option to open the public transit station in Google Maps. This allows the user to search key sightseeing destinations and any other relevant places to suss out how far it is, and whether it is a place or neighborhood they might want to book.
In other words, finally.
