Something to be proud about: The majority of millennials we surveyed don't touch an ounce of work when they take some time off. 👏
An overwhelming third of Map Happy readers (36%) reported that they don't touch a thing when it's time to play. It turns out that, when it comes right down to it, work-life balance is really a thing, and more people are seeking to proactively close the gap when it comes to self-care.
The second most popular choice (30.5%), reported that they would "read emails, but [wouldn't] respond until [they got] back or its an absolute emergency." That's more like my camp, but then again, it's not like we have really taken a vacation in a while either.
That is in stark contrast to only 7.3% that reported "it [almost] feels like I never left the office." A larger part, or approximately a quarter (26.2%), reported that they would wind up working part of the time.
Meaning, only a third felt like they stayed somewhat present in the office during their time off. Not shabby.
