How To Switch Voltage on a Hair Dryer
It’s a little embarrassing on how much we’ve written on the topic, but the truth is, if you don’t have a little graveyard of hair dryers buried in your past, *clearly* you’re not traveling correctly.
There are a few easy ways to mitigate blowing hair dryers out abroad: 1) blow drying on low, 2) traveling with a voltage converter, or 3) buying a dual voltage hairdryer and learning how to switch the voltage like a sane, smart human being. The last option being not the only easiest, but, apparently, the least understood 😂
(Trust me, we’ve owned a dual voltage hairdryer for decades, and it is only now that we figured it out.)
Here’s how to do it: Take a coin, find the little button that points to 125 or 250 (the voltage indicator), and use the coin to turn the knob slot.
It’s the little things in life!
