Take it as a sign of the times! Do what you gotta do and make yourself one.
Though JetBlue was the first U.S. airline to require passengers to wear masks while traveling, quite honestly, we're more surprised that this hasn't happened yet. Expect it to become the new gold standard in flying.
Some international airlines have already started instituting their own policies, and almost all U.S. airlines have followed suit; what one does, the others seem to copy in relatively short order. For example, American Airlines has a "flex" face mask policy in that it will begin offering passengers face masks starting May 1 (that's tomorrow, by the way) but it will become a requirement by May 11.
Besides, did you know how dirty airlines were before? Bet you didn't! There are pluses to everything.
