Hot off the heels of Lyft, Uber has launched a “subscription” pass called Ride Pass. It differs a little bit from Lyft’s model in that it’s a subscription for discounts, not rides.
Buried under the news of Travis Kalanick’s dethroning, Uber has announced the (official) capability to order rides for others.

It’s not that cheap. Especially when it’s completely possible to rent a car for less than $10 per day. (Granted, this car doesn’t have any power windows…)
Once upon a ye time, Uber announced it’d be partnering with Starwood. But this is clearly turning into a thing now.
