Winter is back. And this time, it's personal.
The Weather Channel forecasts Winter Storm Jonas will dump up to two feet of snow on Baltimore, and more around D.C. this weekend. Philly could see 18 inches, New York City could get up to a foot. Boston will be spared the worst of the storm, receiving only an estimated one to three inches total snowfall (score!). Cities as far west as Little Rock and as far south as Atlanta are expected to feel the effects of Jonas.
In response to this imminent travel nightmare, many major airlines are waiving change fees for flights scheduled to run this weekend-including American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and United. Expect all forms of transit and travel to be nightmarish along the eastern seaboard, especially along the I-95 corridor. So batten down the hatches (if you have any), stock up on food, make sure those snowblowers are fueled and read up on how to travel during a snowpocalypse.
