If you've been a little slow on the uptick (like me), most people might have missed the fact Google Maps integrates with Google Calendar appointments.
Meaning, as you're trying to figure out where the bank is for a last-minute cash run before dinner, this is the perfect app for scouting the closest around.
The option to save customized addresses has also been around for a while, but that will also now appear in Maps as users browse around. This includes any friends' addresses, as long as their address info is saved in Google Contacts.
