In an attempt to hide the fact that I have no idea what to write for today, I present to you airport maps as wall décor, perfect for your expertly decorated vintage pad. Oh, and I am a travel geek.
NOMO Design, a Chicago-based creative agency, has created a smorgasbord of airport runway maps if you’re really attached to where you’re always flying from. The posters, which cost $30, basically run 18 inches by 24 inches (45.7 cm x 61 cm). Airports include AMS, ATL, BOS, CDG, CPH, DAL, DEN, DFW, DTW, FRA, HKG, IAD, ICT, JFK, LAX, LHR, MDW, MSP, NRT, ORD, OSH, PDX, PHX,SBP, SEA, SFO, STL, SYD, TLV, YYZ and ZRH.
If a poster isn’t quite what you’re looking for, there are also options to get your rendered design/airport onto a wearable T-shirt. The design agency will also contribute $2 to the Challenge Air Program, which is a program to enrich special needs kids through none other than flying in a very Toms-like move.
I, on the other hand, am not quite ready to commit to a relationship with LAX yet.
And since clearly no one has bought me a scratch-off world map yet, I’m just going to ohhh so subtly drop that mention right in here.
