Tis' the season to wear an ugly sweater and get rewarded for it.
On National Ugly Sweater Day—or December 21—Alaska Airlines will let passengers that wear an ugly Christmas sweater to take advantage of priority boarding.
I'm totally into it.
The airlines is bringing back a rather fun promo it did last year, and honestly, with the holiday travel season in full swing, it's worth employing every trick in the arsenal to fight out for overhead bin space, a la Hunger Games.
The press release mentioned this:
This time of year, we consider ourselves the ‘merrier carrier,’ so we love going above and beyond to help our guests embrace the fun, festive side of flying during the holidays. Whether you’re heading home to celebrate tradition or jetting off to a sunny destination to escape the cold, we recognize your journey begins with us, and we’re happy to make your travels even brighter any way we can.
Love it.
