I love me some free status.
T-Mobile is our favorite carrier for traveling period. Next to the free international data roaming, the free in-flight Wi-Fi, it's the one to pick for all the travel benefits. The carrier has also been known for running car rental and hotel promotions to its members.
Through the year, T-Mobile is allowing customers to sign up for Hilton Honors Silver status (typically, you'd have to stay 10 nights in one calendar year in order to qualify for this). Grab it while you can.
Head on over to the T Life app-formerly known as the T-Mobile Tuesdays app-to grab the code. The status will remain in effect until March 31, 2025; As a side bonus, T-Mobile has a new partnership with Hilton allowing an extra 15% off all their properties.
It's all part of their "Magenta Status" program, which basically aims to provide VIP perks like extra travel benefits for their customers.
(The Points Guy also notes Hilton Honors Silver status is complimentary with the Hilton Honors American Express Card, but why sign up for a credit card when you don't have to?)
Customers do need to be an existing Hilton Honors member, but the sign-up forward is fairly straightforward. Here's the T-Mobile link for claiming the status if you can't be bothered going through the app.
