Maybe I’m a little bit late on the game here but since September, T-Mobile customers can text in-flight for free in conjunction with Gogo.
Maybe I’m a sucker because I pay for in-flight Wi-Fi. Turns out there’s a bunch of services on your phone that work without needing to pay up.
When T-Mobile announced international data roaming would be free last year, I was ecstatic. Obviously, there was no better way to celebrate than by taking it for a spin throughout three countries and two continents.
Business travelers just don’t travel the way normal people do. They live in a slightly different world: flat-bed seats, priority boarding and porcelain trays flacked by pressed suits. But the industry, as we currently know it, probably won’t look the same in a decade, as airlines slowly become more connected.
